Divine Word College of Laoag proudly participated in the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing for the MMSU-led Consortium of Teacher Education Institutions (THEI) in Ilocos Norte, held on November 17, 2025, at the CTE Hall of Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU).
DWCL was represented by Dr. Gladys Jean Q. Basilio, Vice President for Academic Affairs, on behalf of Fr. Edsel R. Demillo, SVD, PhDEM, PhD Mngr, College President.
The consortium formation was led by MMSU President Dr. Virgilio Julius P. Manzano, Jr., together with
Dr. Ronald Candy S. Lasaten, Dean of the MMSU College of Teacher Education, and
Dr. Romelyn T. Lagura, Chief of the MMSU Center of Teaching Excellence.
DWCL joins MMSU and the following partner Teacher Education Institutions and DepEd divisions in this collaborative initiative:

Department of Education – Laoag City
Department of Education – Batac City
Department of Education – Ilocos Norte
This MMSU-led consortium strengthens the shared mission of enhancing teacher education, academic collaboration, research engagement, and professional development across Ilocos Norte.
