FR. GEORGE BILARO DE CASTRO, SVD is the VICE PRESIDENT FOR FINANCE at the Divine Word College of Laoag.

Fr. De Castro brings to Divine Word College of Laoag a record of exceptional leadership and business acumen providing strategic financial management vision within the realm of the Society of the Divine Word Community.

He has 9 years from 1998 to 2007 of industry experience. He worked as the accountant of the Logos Publication Inc., Manila, as Bookkeeper of Bandelaria Enterprise as well as Ayson Accounting and Business Center, in Batangas, as Store Manager of Video City Commercial Inc. While in pursuit of his college degree, he worked as a Service Crew at Jollibee Foods Corp. in 1998.

A native of Taal, Batangas, born on February 29, 1980 and the son of Wilfredo Dinglasan and Leonila Garcia with siblings Philip Ivan, Christian, Ma. Lorena and Patrick. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree at Rizal College of Taal in Year 2000.

Prior to his appointment at the Divine Word College of Laoag, He was the Parochial Vicar, Youth director at the Holy Family Catholic Mission in Sadsadan, Mountain Province. In Year 2015, he served as Assistant Parish Priest of St. Joseph Parish, Claveria, Cagayan and served as missionary to different Parishes: Immaculate Conception Parish of Batangas and Palawan.

He possesses a rare blend of expertise. His industry experience was not enough. He was called to serve the Lord. On June 1, 2007, he started his priestly vocation at the Christ the King Seminary, Quezon City and had his first profession of religious vows on May 29, 2010. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Theology degree in 2012. In year 2014, he had his perpetual profession of religious vows, ordination to the Sacred Order of Deacon and on December 6, 2014, his priestly ordination at Divine Word Seminary Tagaytay City. To cap his educational journey, he finished his Master of Arts in Theology – major in Missiology in 2015.

An animator, event organizer, movie and sound editor, creative paraliturgic organizer, youth organizer, retreat and recollection master, accountant, a priest.
